This is a treatment which changes shape, size and color of the teeth. There are two types:
- Composite, which is the same material used for fillings and requires practically no reduction of the tooth, and it is reversible. The main drawback is that with time it can stain and needs to be periodically polished.
- Ceramic, these are layers of porcelain that adhere to enamel, with a slight preparation necessary, but the color is stable.
